Easy login troubles e.g. with Google account

You can speed up, or more easily remember, your Trade Secrets login by using your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Google account login (third party accounts). To login automatically, you will need to have the connected social media or Google account open in the same browser (another tab or window is fine). If the third party accounts are not open, you can still enter the login details manually.
This is set up in Settings.
Occasionally, people find they cannot connect to third party accounts. This can happen when a popup blocker is active. Please add our site as a trusted site.
Another reason is that the third party account is already being used elsewhere on Trade Secrets. You may have another account and need to close it after honouring any calls and payments. You should only have one Trade Secrets account.
With Google login, it is possible that someone who you've entrusted with your Google login details can accidentally connect Trade Secrets to your Google account, leaving you unable to connect your Google account (only 1 person can connect Trade Secrets with a third party account). We are unable to control this so please ask the people who know your details (friends, family, web developers, personal assistants, etc.) if they have a Trade Secrets account. If so, ask them kindly to log out of all accounts on Google, log into Trade Secrets, go to Settings, disconnect Google, then log into their own Google account (only) and reconnect with Google in Trade Secrets > Settings. They now have the correct connection, and you're free to use your Google account.
Looked at the other way around, maybe you're finding yourself in the account of someone you know, who has shared their Google login with you. At the time of connecting Google with Trade Secrets, you had their Google account open and primary (at the top of the list). Please honour their confidentiality and immediately log out of their Trade Secrets account and follow the above instructions to connect Trade Secrets to your own Google account.
Many issues associated with third party logins can be cleared by saving your work in all browser windows and tabs, clearing browser history, closing all browser windows, and starting afresh in a new window.
